When Calamity Strikes Mankind – The Tsunami of 10,900 BC

Major catastrophes that befall Mankind are sometimes spoken of as being of “biblical proportions” to describe their immensity. The words have been used these days to convey the immensity of the calamity that befell the peoples and lands of the coastlines of the Indian Ocean, when an underwater earthquake caused a “Tsunami”, a tidal wave that spread across thousands of miles of ocean waters and, hitting land, crushed all before it.

Few if any of the news reporters who used the “biblical proportions” terminology may have realized how appropriate the analogy is; for some 13,000 years ago a huge tidal wave, a “Tsunami” if you will, overwhelmed the ancient lands and their inhabitants; except that that time, the tidal wave rose not thirty feet but many thousands of feet and more!

Celestial News: The Comet That Speaks Sumerian

On July 4th 2005, a NASA spacecraft named Deep Impact thrust out a metal probe devised to collide with a comet named Tempel-1. The purpose of the planned collision was to ascertain the true makeup of such a primordial comet by observing and analyzing the impact and its resulting debris.

The successful collision observed from the spacecraft and a variety of Earth-placed and Earth-orbiting instruments, caused a spectacular flare and an expanding ball of ejecta. As the reports of what had been observed begin to trickle out, it becomes evident that the scientific community is facing a major puzzle: The blast, instead of confirming the comet as a celestial body formed in the solar system’s deep-frozen outer fringes, “set loose key ingredients of Earth” (according to the headline in the San Francisco Chronicle of 9/9/05). The Case of the Lurking Planet

“Far beyond the solar system’s nine known planets, a body as massive as Mars may once have been part of our planetary system — and it might still be there…”

The lead paragraph in a science-fiction script?

The lead paragraph from an article by Zecharia Sitchin about Nibiru?

No. It is the lead paragraph in a report in Science News of April 7, 2001 headlined “A Comet’s Odd Orbit Hints At Hidden Planet”.

A Conversation with Zecharia Sitchin – FATE Magazine

FATE gets the scoop from Zecharia Sitchin modern day linguist and biblical scholar.

Phyllis Gldea with FATE Magazine conducted a sit-down conversation and interview with Zecharia Sitchin in 2010, where the author goes into some depth about his own beliefs and what led him to pursue his research into our origins.

PG: For our FATE readers, could you please tell a brief summary of what you have done, what you have discovered and uncovered, and where did it happen?

ZS: FATE, like other magazines perhaps, has a new generation of readers, and that is very interesting.

At the beginning of 2009, I agreed to go to LA and speak at some Expo. Almost five years before, I had scheduled one of my big seminar events in LA, in May 2004, and it had to be canceled almost at the last minute. Visiting with family in Philadelphia, I didn’t feel right. My son-in-law there was a doctor and called one of his colleagues, and he examined me. He said I was not far from a fatal heart attack because there was a blockage that was not in a reachable place. He said the only thing that we could do was a heart bypass. I was admitted to the hospital right then and there.

As I was waiting to be prepared for the operation, a young male nurse comes in and says he saw my name in the list of new admissions. He says, “Oh! I have read all your books! I have an original edition of The 12th Planet. Would you autograph it for me? I will go home and get it.”

I said, “Let’s make a deal. If I make it through the operation, I will autograph the book.” Which obviously, I did.

Interview with Zecharia Sitchin (1996)

Antonio Huneeus, republished October 30, 2010

“I am bursting, people don’t realize how every day, every day we get corroboration of ancient knowledge…”

This interview was recorded in Sitchin’s home office in Manhattan’s Upper West Side on March 13, 1996. It was originally intended for the international Spanish magazine Año Cero (Year Zero), published in Madrid but distributed throughout Latin America as well. Later, a Japanese version was published in the now-defunct Tokyo magazine Borderland, and an edited version in the original English in Fate magazine in the U.S. However, this is the first time that the full, unedited transcript of the interview is presented, as a tribute to the great, late Zecharia Sitchin. Besides the range of highly interesting topics covered, it also shows Zecharia’s thought process and the way he dealt with difficult questions like predictions for the return of Nibiru.

Origin of the Species, From an Alien View (NYTimes Interview)

Corey Kilgannon of the New York Times talked with Zecharia Sitchin in 2010, discussing his daily routine living in New York city as well as addressing topics from the Earth Chronicles books. Sitchin was 90 years old when giving this interview, and still appeared as quick witted as ever.

WHERE did humankind come from?

If you’re going to ask Zecharia Sitchin, be ready for a “Planet of the Apes” scenario: spaceships and hieroglyphics, genetic mutations and mutinous space aliens in gold mines.

It sounds like science fiction, but Mr. Sitchin is sure this is how it all went down hundreds of thousands of years ago in Mesopotamia. Humans were genetically engineered by extraterrestrials, he said, pointing to ancient texts to prove it.

Inconvenient News From the Moon – Zecharia Sitchin

INCONVENIENT NEWS FROM THE MOON

News, as much of everything else, needs luck to succeed. News, more than anything else, has no chance of success if it is inconvenient — and especially so, if it happens to be true.

A case in point: Latest discoveries concerning the Moon.

Interview with Zecharia Sitchin (Connecting Link, 1993)

Image: Connecting Link Magazine

CONNECTING LINK issue 17

In this interview, held between Connecting Link magazine and Zecharia Sitchin in 1993, the author reveals his inspiration for writing The 12th Planet, which he states was the culmination of 30 year’s of research, beginning with his desire to understand the origin of the Biblical “Nephilim”. His desire to understand it’s origins led him to undertake the study of Sumerian cuneiform tablets, with their many tales of divine beings, and the origin of mankind – from which he theorized an entire history of ancient alien contact.
